Does foam go on any part of this internal door??? What’s this part called, so I can look at my Detroit Muscle Technologies resto kit instructions?

Yes, there is a gasket/foam that goes there. Send your pictures to Jim if you only need that piece or get the whole kit.

I might have the foam in the rebuild kit. Do you know the name of the part in the picture?

No, I don't and don't have the instructions from DMT. It's the only one that fits that door if my memory serves me right

I believe the correct name is 'mode door', but not sure if that's how the kit refers to it.
