Reassembling the front suspension on the 67 Coronet. The strut rod bushing that clamps the k frame, is there a metal sleeve that I’m missing that acts as a positive stop? If so I don’t have them. I would have thought they come with the new bushing but no. So I don’t know if I need something or not. If they are not sold can I substitute something else to make a pair, what would the length be?
Thanks again for the help, Dan

Yes you need them. Someone will have a measurement.

All the strut rod bushings i have replaced always had a bushing/sleeve in them. Here is a picture of a few old ones, 5/8 inside Dia. and 1 3/4 long.
