Radiator OEM Hose Clamp Install

I just bought an OEM hose clamp kit for my 69 Satellite with a 318. The question I have is the diameter to the radiator hoses is 1 1/2 inches. The kit contains 2 clamps that are 1 1/2 inches and two that are 1 3/4 inches. What is the correct placement of the different size clamps? These are the corbin style ring clamps. Anyone know? I would say that you got the wrong kit. 69 and earlier upper and lower hoses are the same diameter-1 1/2. The 70 up small block with the alum water pump use a 1 3/4 bottom hose. Also in 70 up the bypass hose is larger also. Check all of your clamps to make sure the rest of them fit. Carry a set of good worm clamps with you so when these start leaking you can put a worm clamp on and not be stranded. lol!
