Mine is cut out. Going to stick a 7"W x 2"T stereo radio in the spot. Anyone have a place/model/kit where they got an installation kit (trim ring, bracket, etc) that worked and where did you get it? Also, what you had to do to make it work is appreciated!

I've never seen a bezel made for these cars. Both my 71 and 74 had just regular trim around the radio (one was pretty wide to cover a bit of choppiness).

The problem with a radio bezel is this area of the cluster bezel is slightly curved from top to bottom radio bezels are straight, so the top of the radio bezel will be flush but the bottom won't be. The fix I've used in the past is to get some 1/4" rubber strip and make a bezel out of that.

I was in the same boat. used some metal pieces, some screws, and some time for alignment. My setup.

That's a curvy looking dash to fill. Does the factory radio fit nicely? - if so there are places that can retro-fit your factory radio to have modern digital components with iPod and other accessories possible.
