I have new dash trim pieces for my 1969 Super Bee that has a rallye dash. Can the trim pieces be replaced without taking the dash out of the car? The gauges are connected to the face plate but I am unsure how they are attached. Can it be lifted out with the gauges connected?

To remove the gauge bezel you have to remove the entire cluster the bezel is attached from the rear with screws.

Can the bezel be pulled out far enough to access the retaining screws? I pulled it out about an inch but I was unsure if it would damage the speedometer and then the skies decided to turn black so I had to put the Bee in the garage.

You will also need to remove the glovebox liner to gain access to the speed nuts for the right side upper trim.

It will need to be removed completely the screws are
Accessible from the back but being able to see them you would have to use a light and mirror.
