Just upgraded my 70 roadrunner to 4 wheel disc from disc front/drum rear manual brakes. Running new brake lines. Do I still need the stock metering valve/tee block on the rear axle for a 4 wheel disc setup with hydraboost?
The T block on the rear housing is just that, a TV fitting, no valve.
Your metering valve is lined under your mastercylinder, a block with the lines going to it. Also most mastercylinders have valves inside at the lines also. You should be good with what you have now. If the rear wheels are locking up on hard braking, a adjustable valve can be installed up front coming off you mastercylinder. Ram Man or Dr. Diff are great for any stock or upgraded systems.
