Hello, im new to the group
I have a 66 coronet that I am currently putting a right stuff all wheel disc kit on. The problem I have run into is the kit said that it fits 15 inch rims. I purchased a 15 x 7 magnum 500 from summit but the rear caliper is rubbing on the inside of the back of the rim. Not quite enough clearance. Everything up front works just fine.I really like the style of this rim. I would like to keep that look if I can.so my thought is to add a half inch spacer and extend the threads to a half inch longer. Will this work? Has anyone tried it? Are there any recomendations on a spacer? Thanks

Are you sure you have the brackets for the calipers mounted correctly? I used the same kit on my 66 with 15 inch rims and have plenty of clearance.

I have heard of people having issues with the Magnum 500's.But yes you can run a spacer with longer studs without a problem.I had a local machine shop make a set of 3/8'' for one of my drag cars.Worked for me.
