I’m basically rebuilding the entire back half of my car except for the frame rails. New trunk, dropoffs, wheelhouses, full quarters, plenum, Dutchman, tail panel, valence, crossmember, etc.

the part under the back seat has some rust in the passenger side only. I’ll attach some photos. It’s not terrible, but I’m not sure how to patch this and make it look good. It’s a pretty structural piece, so I don’t know about removing it and replacing it.

There is also the typical rear corner rot in the wheelhouses. I’m almost tempted to cut the part out of a full amd repro just to not have to pull that much structure from the car.

Anyone got any tips? this is going to be a lot of effort, so I want to do it right.

I’d rather just put a new pan in, its only $429 or so and I can pick it up at summit racing here. However, I’m unsure of how to brace the car as this pan seems to tie a lot of structure together.

It’s only bad on the passenger side. It’s either a creative patch or bracing for total pan replacement.
