Rear license plate frame

Is this license frame a factory item, a dealer add-on item, or an aftermarket item?

I don't know if the finish was polished or matte.

On my '70 Charger 500.

Even in 70 that would have been the first thing I tossed for something better. Pardon my opinion but that one is more suited for the wall of a den.

It looks like an aftermarket frame.
Dealer installed might have had a name on it.
I don't think the factory ever used a frame.

This is my all time favorite. It goes on the back of every Mopar I own.
