Hi, I have a 69 Super Bee and I am building it to Race and Street . I put 29 1/2 x 25 1'2 M/T slicks on and they touch the front of the fenders. It will work if I can move the rear end back 2 inches. How can I do this and still make the suspension still work? The tires measure out to be 30 inches tall. Thanks.

S/S spring hangers, and lengthen driveshaft. Rear shackles may be an issue.

Exactly where are the tires rubbing and is the same on both sides? How much room do you have on the inside toward the springs? Last resort is moving the rear back as far as drag racing goes and if you have room inboard, using a set of rims with a different offset is much easier than moving the axle.

The tires are touching the front of the fender. 4 inches of room on the rear side of the tire. 3 inches of clearance on the inside spring . Just looks like I need to center the rear end.

It would be a lot easier to use different offset wheels. I'm betting the rear is in it's stock location from the factory. Lengthening your wheel base will not improve traction either and if anything, it'll worsen it. If your launch/traction is on the edge as it is, moving the axle back can mean you'll lose it. You will most likely will have to relocate your rear hangers for the proper angle not to mention what mmissile said about the driveshaft.
