rear wheel opening

[66 coronet]

I need the rear wheels openings for a 66 charger, don't want the whole quarters just the wheel outer lips. Does any one make just this?

Im not aware of any after market rear wheel arch patch panels for 66/67 Chargers or for that matter 6/67 B bodies.


The way they are shaped they are hard to build at home. Not your typical metal brake/ shrinker / stretcher operation.

I had to build mine on the bench in two pieces then mig them together , then fit them to the qts. PITA for sure but you can do it.

The Coronet and Belvedere are out there. Not sure about the Charger though. I got Sherman patches. They are "OK", but the lines are not real crisp. As for shape mine were very nice and fit perfectly into the original opening prior to me cutting things apart. If I recall correctly, I got mine through Rockauto.

They don't look super precise, but at that price - when you have nothing else to work with, it might be worth a look. I imagine they will take some tweaking, and probably lots of swearing - but they might work.

This will be my project next summer, I may try these, or the Sherman ones, or hope I get lucky in the salvage yard...
