Well I just came across Arizona House Bill 2480. Look it up. Kansas also has the same law. It seams it's now LEGAL to reinstall a pre 1980 vin on a classic car during restoration if it's needed to do so to repair/replace where ever the vin was attached from the factory. Was wondering if any documentation is needed? Hopefully no one will try to pass it off as an original sheetmetal that came on the car when it left the factory. The car/truck could be repaired with original ,correct year factory sheetmetal. Some people want the original factory sheet metal, and are willing to pay for that. If that's what you want. As always BUYER BEWARE. Does anyone know the specifics of these 2 laws
