Removing angle trim piece on charger??

Is there a technique to remove the little "U" angle trim piece on a 68-70 charger without wrecking it. Its the trim piece where the drip rail trim meets the rear side window trim on the body. Sry i couldnt post pics of the actual piece. Thanks

I think your talking about the trim piece that slides over the wide trim along the top of the quarter by the glass? I believe mine had screws holding it in place and I did not take mine off that wide trim as it did not want to budge but other than that I believe mine came off fairly easy and the screws are behind the inner upper trim pad.

It seems to be clamped on by the driprail. I ll try carefully prying it off

Its pushed into the other trim piece and screwed in. You are correct.
