Hello, to the Mopar B body family. Short story, I'm a 43 yr. old guy who needs help making his 66 yr. old dads dream come true AGAIN! My dad bought a brand new 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX with a 440 Super commando when he turned 20 yrs old. He wanted the one with the Hemi, but would have had to order it. Not wanting to wait he took a blue one with the 440 home off the lot that day. It had bucket seats, with a center console and automatic transmission. My dad loved his car and at that time it was faster than even the local small town police cars. He knew the police uptown, where they cruised on the weekends. One night the cops asked him how fast it would run, and he told them lets go see. They found a straight country rd. and drag raced. The now retired cop, says my dads car smoked his police cruiser. Anyway, dads younger brother borrowed his car for the senior prom. After dropping his date off that night, he was flying around a sharp curve, lost control, hit a huge oak tree and "WRAPPED" my dads GTX around it! Literally like a U. My dad has never had the chance to have his young days back cruising in his GTX. I want to make that happen for him. He had the car a whopping, 7 months when his brother totaled it. Please help a son make it happen again for him. I cant spend anymore than $30,000.
