Tim Allen paid tribute to his ex Saturday
The last man standing co-star Robert Forster, who died on Friday at the age of 78.
"Very sad about Robert's death, it was a gift for me personally and an emotional part of our show. Prayers and condolences to his beautiful wife and family," Allen tweeted.
Nancy Travis, who plays Vanessa Baxter in the series, also mentioned Forster on social media.
"A really talented actor and one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. RIP Robert ”, Travis

Forster died at his Los Angeles home following a brief battle against brain cancer. He played Allen's widowed father, Bud Baxter, in
