I guess these seals go on the rear quarter windows and seal up with the door glass. I wonder how one would change these out? Looks like the old ones are on there to stay.

At the bottom of that seal there is a barb that is bent to hold it in place and keep the seal from sliding. Bend that barb out straight (CAREFULLY), unhook the barb from the seal, then the seal will slide right out the top. They can be a little bit of a pain but it's really not that bad. Soak em in soap warm water for a few then try it.

-Edit- And as far as installing the new ones, it's really easy. Just slide them in from the top and then hook that barb on the bottom and carefully bend the barb back down. Best bet is to do one at a time that way you don't get confused on which one goes in whatever way. Pull one old one out, match up the new one, install the new one. If they wanna hang up then using a few drops of dishwashing liquid soap will help get them to slide in.

You could try to take some laquer thinner. Get under an edge and work it around to soften the adhesive. Or cut the seal up little at a time until you get most of it off then clean up the glass. Also I would wear safety glasses incase the glass shatters. Just my suggestions

Most likely your originals have some dirt and grime and maybe a little bit of rust holding them in place, as mind did, but they should slide out. I got mine loose by slowly working them up and down in the track until they gave then slid out with a modest amount of force. Also helps if its a warm day, trying to do it when its cold just makes it more difficult. As Magnes says, use some drops of liquid soap on the new rubber to slide in the new ones once you clean up the track for them. Also, if you break off the tabs that holds them in place you can use a small screw to hold it in once installed.
