Safety Glass?

Hi does anyone know if the Windshields from b body mopars are made out of safety glass or if they break in 1000 pieces if you hit a bird or something?

Windshields are two layer safety. Tempers on all other windows.

I think they started using that laminated safety glass back in the 1920's.

I most likely need to replace mine to pass german inspection. (It has a crack)

I think the AMD (Auto Metal Direct) reproduction will be just fine and also has Safety Glass, right?

AMD is the same as OE..
