Sand and Super Glue?

At first I wondered what this guy was tripping on something but by the time he got to repairing the broken bolt end on the plastic auto part I started getting intrigued. The super glue and iron powder is an interesting idea. I wonder if a threaded hole repair with that would take much torque?
