Sealing 6 pack hard lines

I know that some of us have dealt with the issue of getting 6 Pack hard lines to seal. Here is a tip that worked for me. Lightly coat the back and inside of the flare of the lines with Moly assembly paste. It minimizes the friction of the nut on the back of the flare and allows the flare to align and seal better all while using about half the torque of wrenching dry fittings. It worked for me and I'm hoping it works for you.

Never dealt with that but sounds logical....hope others respond.

It seems the reproduction lines just don't have quite the same bends as OE, they are close, but not right... The two new short connector lines have rounded bends, the original parts have distinct crisp bends.. Lube sure can't hurt but back in the day it was never an issue...
 
I was putting my T/A back together to complete its restoration, and when I went to start it for the first time, I couldn't get the lines to not leak like crazy.
I contacted the engine builder, and he told me to put a little red grease on the threads of the fuel line fittings, then tighten them up. He said that lube helped get the fittings to thread past small burrs.
I tried it, and it worked perfect, didn't leak a drop!
