What is correct bolt setup for 69 Coronet bucket seat hinge ?
Top pic has 5/8 shoulder and bottom is 1/2 the 5/8 are marked with a N and no markings on 1/2 “
Also any other washers besides the repo fiber ones from classic ind. Between hinge and seat?
Thank in advance dcmason69

I don't have mine handy right now but I do have some pictures of my bolts in my resto album. Mine are for my '68 Charger bucket seats. They look to be the longer shoulder and they do have an N on the head.

Hey that is good to hear!
Can you tell me is there any other washers etc. used besides the fiber washer between hinge and seat ?
Thank you

I just put the seats back together on my 69 RR. In addition to the wide fiber washers there were 1/8" thick steel washers on one side of each seat between the frame and those fiber ones. I put a single thinner washer on each side instead to evenly space things.

I see gkent good iinfo:
So the 1/8” washers went over the shoulders on the bolts I assume and so were these virgin seats ? If so were the washers on the inboard or outboard of seats? Just curious!
Thanks for your help

My seats are 100% original 1969 Plymouth B-body buckets. I only took the backs off to replace the big washers which had cracked and broken over the years. I seen to recall the 1/8" washers were on the outer bolts.

HOWEVER, my guess is these were installed to take up the slack between the base and the back and could have been installed on either side depending on which side the assembler bolted in first. Its possible some seats wouldn't even have needed them. I don't think which side is important.

OK
Thank you gKent your information is just what I needed !
Bought used seats and no 2 things are the same! This clears up things.
Appreciate your help
