Yeah, something off. Fender tag shows AB 62 which is 383 4bbl. Unless a special order but no "u 1" in the first row.

That’s a cool color on Mopars !
This Survivor Has been in my storage stable untouched since I acquired it from the estate . I used to marvel at my neighbors dad putt putting around in this 66. It Came new from LV Chrysler Plymouth Dodge. Been in Southern Nevada All It’s life !
No Rust Anywhere....
Probably won’t see one like this again. Complete too . Last Registered 2001 . Placed in long term storage then . Not Currently Operational . In addition it comes with Period correct Ansen Slotted Mags with decent roller rubber. Clean NV
Title. Undamaged . As You Can See it hasn’t been abused or jumped any bridges Bo & Luke
Duke Style either. Glass Is All Intact . Interiors Complete too being redone by the previous owner .
I’ve decided to let it go & concentrate on a 66 Coronet drag car I’m converting to street duty .

Nothings Off .... Its ALL THERE! Just Like It Was Born With 55 Years Ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AB62= 383 4BBL.

Perhaps whoever or whatever decoded that VIN used the incorrect info in the factory service manual for 1966.

There were no 383 2 barrel engines installed in B body cars in 1966.

The next downlevel engine was the 361 (only available as a 2 barrel).

The 361 was replaced in 1967 with the 2 barrel 383.
