Hi Mopar Folks,
The leaf springs on my 66 Coronet are a bit weak and the rear sags a little.
What is better to use, the load handler shocks with the helper coil springs on them or air shocks.

Your shock mounting areas are not designed to " hold " up the car
 
I would replace the springs before band aiding with shocks.

I installed new HD leafs. Air shocks will give you more height having those on a few old rides (one was to keep the car high enough to clear fat rubber); but the cars rode like crap, choppy, and didn't handle well cornering. As posted, I'd check out springs...
