I picked up some additional US State tags for my tag walls. So far, I have 42 states, one territory, two US Forces tags, along with four provincial tags, three Aussie state tags, and several foreign plates. including one from Cuba! Not all are in the pic.

From top to bottom (facing) - Bahrain, Spain (Madrid), Luxembourg, US AFCENT (Netherlands 1989), SHAPE Belgium, Panama, (the oval tag is an old West German Customs (Zolle) plate), Saudi Arabia, Belgium, the vertical yellow plate is Netherlands pre-1990, and to finish out the left bottom column, we have US Forces Azores, Prince Edward Island (PEI), Manitoba, then under the Self Service sign is Cuba, Alberta, Ontario, and the vertical (and very dark) tag is Iceland (Keflavik).

I've got perhaps 200 or so more tags stacked and stashed away. Mostly 1966-1990 Colorado (some pairs), a few other foreign, along with several Iowa, Kansas, and Oklahoma tags. I cut quite a few old and not-so-valuable plates and made address signs from them for me and a couple of friends. I have 1931 CO, 1927 IL, and 1930 MN tags I'm looking to restore this Winter. They have a degree of surface rust, but thankfully no rust holes.

My oldest and most valuable is probably my 1918 Belgian porcelain plate. I'd gauge the condition at 96 of 100. I received that as a gift my Belgian friend Luc gave to me as a bonvoyage present before my wife and I PCSd back to Oklahoma. Luc, who in the 1980s and early '90s, was one of the largest license plate collectors in the world. One of his most unique plates was his "19th Province" Iraq plate. After Saddam invaded Kuwait, he claimed it as the "19th Province", and required Kuwaitis to re-plate their vehicles with the new "19th Province" plate. After Kuwait was liberated, most Kuwaitis destroyed those plates, and they are exceptionally rare. He had plates from over 175 different countries (some of those countries no longer exist). I'll post a pic of that porcelain later. It's on my bookcase in my office, right next to the cast-iron Hubley truck/trailer combo my Dad got in 1934 for his birthday (which is in NO way for sale!).

I want to complete my US collection (prefer pre-1990), as well as my Canadian collection. I'll list what's missing and then post a Wanted ad for those.
