Greetings all,
Any one can direct me to a shop or a guy who can build for me a clone Daytona Or Superbird ?
The project will include everything with car purchasing to start with..
Thanks

So far all the clones of a Daytona/super bird were made by the owners in his garages, at least the one portraits here on the forum, the nose (a good bone) is almost impossible to find, from were you live i think it would be a lot easier to buy an already made clone and import it to Arabia my 02cents.

Fine with me.But the clone should be equipped with Hemi engine 426 plus manual transmission. Color and paint condition dose not matter with me because eventually i am going to painted green.
Thanks

Depending on what you want the real deal or an already built clone might be cheaper and less hassle.
Hemi 426 and Manual Transmission sounds like restomod. Those are $$$. Especially if you cant do it yourself.
And you do not want to spare on something like a schwartz performance chassis including nice suspension and brakes when doing that. At least i wouldn't.

I live in germany so i cant help you with a shop recommendation.
But do you look for a shop in the states or saudi arabiya?

Hi Michael
I am looking for a shop in the united state. This is easy for getting parts and near to the shop plus shipping costs.
That is why, the clone should be done properly to accept the hemi engine such torque boxes and suspension.
The clone should not be different from original Daytona or superbird except the VIN #

GYCs would be a good shop to build your car. Ask them.

Just be careful and take your time choosing a shop.
Or they will eat you alive. (rip you off)

Do you plan on staying in the states while your car is getting built?
Do you know how to work on cars?
I see horrible possibilities if you're being in saudi arabiya while your car is getting built in the states. :D

So its really important to find a trustable place.
Which ain't easy.

Thanks Slimt will contact GYCs and see.
Thanks Michael.I have big experience in building cars off body restorations and i started with Europe cars and some how i bought this 1970 dodge coronet with hemi 426 and manual transmission and i fall in love with B body mopar.
Now i am after the Daytona and superbird. Buying the real deal Daytona or superbird will be like impossible especially with hemi engine and manual transmission. So it is economical is to buy clone or make one with your custom touch.
I know there is incomplete clone projects and owners wants to sell. It is matter of time to meet them soon. Plus with the forum help

atomic speed shop in knoxville tn builds some freakin awesome mopars

You are looking at 50 grand in labor and paint just to do the body real nice, panel fit everything, on a wing car. I know a shop that could do it, but a running car that is NICE, will be 100k plus parts and the car.

Forgive me here, but I just got a kick out of someone in Germany using the word "ain't"...

To round up good quality parts to build a decent wing car clone, plan on spending around 20 grand for them. There are some vendors selling cheap fiberglass and plastic parts that will make your B body Mopar look like a wing car, but if you are going to spend the money to build one,you will want the car to have durability and longevity. The nose cone can be steel as original, or a good quality multi layered fiberglass, but the internal pieces like zee bars, headlight buckets and headlight pivots need to be steel. The rear window plug on a Charger needs to be steel as well, because mating fiberglass to the steel body will crack due to the expansion rate differences of steel and fiberglass. Some people are using an early 70 Chevrolet Vega rear hatch assembly as a cheaper alternative to spending the money for a factory style steel window plug ,glass and moldings, to which even the reproductions are expensive and difficult to obtain. The wings are being reproduced in cast aluminum as original, fiberglass wings are known to sag in the middle over time.

chargervet i agree with you. Of course i wont go with cheap things. I have to do it the right way.
Ironbuilt, You are right. I actually found real deal about 149000 $.
Now, if the clone will cost me around the real deal price then i will go with real deal.
If the clone will cost me have the price then will be okay or drop the idea and go with real deal. Lets wait and see market.

I agree.
If you can afford and want the real deal (not a fancy restomod with bigger engine, better brakes, suspension etc.) than i would look no further and buy one.

You might can find an already built clone for a decent price.
But as has been pointed out by others: Getting one built will most likely cost in the same ballpark as a real one.
But of course why not ask for quotes anyway?
