I have a 69 Super Bee with shoulder belts and I can't seem to find this answer or part. The belt clips into the lock next to the sun visor for storage, but there is no clip to hold the additional extra slack from hanging down. The previous owner used paper clips, which did the job but they are leaving marks and don't look very nice. Does anyone know if there was a clip, where it went and how can I get a set? If someone could post a pic that would really help.

Thanks

I recently had the same question. I learned that there is a little snap receiver next to the coat hook in the headliner. The end of the seatbelt strap is supposed to have an elastic strap with the female end that attatches to that little snap by the coat hook. I saw this setup in a couple of 69s in a junkyard recently- looks like the elastic doesn't hold up well over time.

So that's what that snap is for!!!!!!! Thanks for the info......Now I either sew an elastic strap with a snap to the seatbelt or live with the paper clips for now. Or find new shoulder belts.....
