I have both pieces for the side scoops on the 1970 B body.. the Sport Satellite chrome piece and the pot metal RR and GTX pieces...
I am going to paint the inside area flat black but was thinking about combing the two trim pieces... just cut the pot metal pieces to fit and have it chromed.. thoughts ? Or just pick one or the other... the chrome pieces are nice and I like them but I like the bigger scoop of the RR/GTX....

can someone photo chop that?

I was going to do it that way but paint them flat black on the outside but in my quest for parts to fit the car realized the SS quarter had different trim and pre drilled holes...LOL..SO I have both pieces now and was thinking about a hybrid of them..
bring the center piece up flush to the lip of the chrome.. the scoop area on the SS piece is very shallow.. was trying to accentuate the side better

Its a long shot but I thought I'd throw the idea into the ring

I need that vinyl trim piece on top of the quarter as well

No, used from a member on the board here. He had them media blasted and stored them a while ago I guess.. they look new though for sure.. guess it would be a waste to chop them..LOL

Just cut out the area then put some superbird fender bulges over them to make some functional brake cooling ducts!! That's a joke.... really it is....I didn't mean it.... really I didn't...
