Ordered door panels 12/09/21 they said 6 months no panels yet. Anybody order from them and how long did it take to receive them.

From some conversation on the “C”-body site, it seems to take a long time because of how busy/behind SMS gets.

But my understanding is SMS does quality work and well worth the wait.

Now I’ve never had to use them, just my perspective. Maybe use the search feature over on C-bodies and here for an insight.

I had an extremely long wait, around 4 yrs, if I remember correctly. I ordered back in Nov, 2016, and were delivered early this year. May have been closer to 5yrs ?

I've heard years is typical.. But I've also heard the quality is top notch... If they would be honest about their backlog they would have less pissed off customers..

FWIW It's difficult to hire a competent dish washer these days, trying to hire help for a business like SMS is virtually impossible so you either wait or go elsewhere which most likely means accepting a lesser product..
