Edit: *780 horsepower haha

A little highway leg stretching yesterday for my friend Mike Devee's 540 cid Arruzza-built Hemi '69 Roadrunner, after a little adjustment by Meep-Meep Alex while he was up visiting. Good times!

And I had an awesome time yesterday running around with them and helping get Alex's Stormtrooper bird back rolling and ready for the trip back home. Next time I see it we better be making the canyon run to the coast!

"There's only a handful of guys in the world that can do this!" Hahaha!
:eek:ccasion14:

Whole lotta Awesome in this post!! That 730HP Hemi looks and sounds baddass but I'm sure that video did no justice to how hard that thing must pull!

Meep's Bird is looking Sexy!

Oh and the Chebbie....

That's pretty cool that you guys all got together and got some wrenching done and made some headway on Meep's RR, he knows his Mopars for sure (great guy). That Hemi sounds great too, I'm envious......... I've yet to get to ride in a Hemi powered car.

Very cool thanks for sharing, cool ride for sure

Meeps/Alex seems like a great guy,
hell he's originally from Concord Ca., he must be...LOL
we even both knew allot of the same people, back in the day,
but don't remember ever meeting each other

yep there's only a handful in the world, that can do that, for sure...LOL

Ohhh yeah, no justice at all. You can kinda catch the speedometer clipping 100, but the feeling of the entire seat turning into a vacuum cleaner is unreal haha. And the couple views of the headliner were my neck getting whipped back lol! And that's for sure, the Stormtrooper is absolutely flawless! Can't wait to see it all reassembled

Yeah man, wrenching on a mopar with friends, grabbed some burgers, did some burnouts, it was a great day for sure! Wish it had been more like a week haha. Alex is a great guy, and an definitely an encyclopedia on all things mopar/horsepower related. I told him and Mike I think I picked up more useful knowledge in a couple days of hanging out with them than I did through my whole senior year of high school lol

PS: bring some more of that Dunsmuir brew next time Alex, that stuff was top-shelf! :eek:ccasion14:

That taken around Sweet Home/Lebanon ?
Nope! Down in Josephine County on the way from Grants Pass out to Williams

Goon and Dev! here's why you need to come visit, we have the most awesome rural driving roads around my area!

Let alone the killer river spots to throw a few brews in the trunk and drive out to!

I'll second the great weekend post! Man, I didn't want to leave. From Mike's wife's cooking and hospitality, the gearhead-ness going on (complete with dog help) and the general scenery in the area it was heaven. Mr. Speed Freak (Jake) is one of my new favorite people. Young intelligent kid with a desire to learn and without fear dives in to all things car related. His 67 Chevelle with a stock-ish 454 is just bad ***.

By the way, I forgot to grab the jug that the brew came in. I was hoping we finished it off (or decanted it) so I could take the empty for a refill but I guess it will have to wait till next time. So I suggest you get to Mike's tomorrow to finish it off. It's only good for 3 days once it's open. And yes, I'll bring more when the orange RR shows up.

Looks like you guys had a brilliant weekend....congrats, and thanks for the cool videos you shared. :headbang:

Hey thanks Alex and same goes for you, that was an awesome time and you definitely need to make the next trip a little longer! When will the orange bird be heading our way? I need to get the chevelle all buttoned up and coast-run worthy in time for october haha
