local old timer stopped by today and gave me these

They were not a Mopar special tool that the dealers had to buy. Those were a kit that the company Bear alignment company offered. They were a pain and a waste of time.
 
Are you saying they were a bear to use?


I've never understood the obsession with factory ride height.

Put it where you (or the customer) want it, then align it (if necessary).

That's what I've done for 40 years and never had an issue.

You can stick them under your mattress to keep your head elevated. Alleviates acid reflux :poke:
 
The original owner of Max backed off the left torsion bar for a better launch, the battery being in the right rear of the trunk. I've owned the car since 1985 and never knew that until I wanted to level the car. When I checked the side to side with a level it was Poifict Moe! It eliminated the steering shimmy too!
