Sox & Martin, man they drove some really cool cars back in the day...I got more than a few pics of their cars hanging on my wall of fame...Of course ronnies 67 satellite is my all time favorite!!!!

I have seen film of that car racing, totally cool. I have always wondered if that was a "body in white" 68 car due to the lack of side markers or if they were just filled in. Do you know? Thanks.

Actually it is an assy line 383 Road Runner Coupe (VIN & fender tag) Bare Bones and converted to a hemi and has complete pedigree history from Chrysler and S&M.

Man if had the money I,d have more cars than jay leno!!!All mopars of course!!!

The body in white cars are/were OEM, side marker lights and all. The marker lights were filled, I believe, in an attempt to convert it to a 1969 at some point. Dick Landy Did that with a couple of his cars as well. I never saw the S&M car with the 6 pack hood, however.

The last hood I saw on this car before the six pack hood was the rr hood with some generic poor looking small scoop. Nor did the car have the rear wheel openings cut out...but things changed often on race cars over the years.

They also had a 68 X.

True enough. The GTX was at one time going to run Stock eliminator, but they felt to invade "grass roots" part of the sport with a Pro team wouldn't have been good...they were right....
