SPAM the wonder food!

Spam it! We also ate a fair amount of while growing up. My parents grew up during the depression and we had 9 kids. What do you feed nine kids but a lot of spam.cant even look at it any more. No spam for me! My wife is Asian but has never even heard of the mysterious meat.

Isn't Spam Hawaii's national dish?

Love Spam but don't have it very often. Try putting it in chessy potato casserole sometime.

Gotta go to the SPAM museum in MN.

I had it like a zillion times as a kid, but cant say I've had it in at least 40 years..... guess I just dated myself.

Went food shopping with the wife, No chicken or meat today at the local shop-rite. Either a storage or Hoarding durning the Virus. So I pick up a few cans of Spam....Fried up with some Eggs. All is well.

I like spam, but the girlfriend can't stand it, she had it too much as a kid. I usually prep spam and rice.
And for a while a couple weeks ago, there was not a single can of spam to be had. Empty shelves from hoarding.

I purchased the last 2 cans of regular spam. They had a lot of Bacon Flavored spam....My wife doesn't like it and makes fun.

Got 2 cans of that **** in the pantry. If I get hungry enough to eat it, that means I already went through the wife and kids.....and the poor dog too.

Tried it once! Never again! Spam is some nasty crap!

When I was kid my mom would cut it up into 1/2 inch cubes, put it in a pot of cut up potatoes, navy beans, water and green beans. We seriously didn't have much money and we had it pretty often. My friends called it Auschwitz soup. To this day I still have it every few months just to remember where I came from and I have to admit it. I like it.

I like it on a garlic buttered bun with co jack cheese toasted in the oven

My mom used to slice it up, dip it in egg and then breadcrumbs and fry it. It was pretty good with lots of ketchup on it. I don't think I've had any since the 70's.

We just had some sliced and fried on a griddle last week with hash brown potatoes.

I do not like green eggs and Spam...

Dad said when he was in the Philippines as the soldiers were going back home the Army disposed of truckloads of Spam by dumping it into a hole in the ground. The Filipinos gathered it as fast as it was dumped.
They got hooked on the stuff.

Frankly, real ham is much cheaper than Spam.
