Most of us would of heard about these new special treatments such as exotic metal treatments, coatings and other state of the art processes.
I've heard about ceramic coatings both for inside engines ,pistons & turbos , also headers and such.

But I can across a metal treatment called WPC .The company is in California. It isn't a coating but a metal process. You send your parts to them and they are treated (similar to shot penning ) but not so extreme. The process doesn't change any tolarences or dimensions but it reduces friction amazingly.
I'm thinking crank journals,cam,journals,oil pump,lifter sides,valve stems ect...
I read it originated in Japan through Moto GP .
Has anyone use this process?

I'd be interested in your thoughts regardless.

Wonder what type of cost would be involved in treating engine parts
