is there anyone here using these parts, any feedback on these, thanks

I used the sending unit and also bought a new tank from them. I was very happy with their products, well made and the sending unit worked flawlessly.

I even modded my sending unit for a return line when I added EFI. I got a 3/8 tube, threaded it on the outside, and used to jam nuts to hold it in place, with a fuel-safe washer to keep it sealed off. It was a tight squeeze, but it worked. There are two units - 5/16 and 3/8 tube, either one will work, but if you get 3/8 and your hard fuel line is 5/16, double hose clamp the hose.

The Spectra looks like they are of a galvanneal coated tank?
Is there any advantaged to a stainless steel tank with today's fuels?

Spectra tanks are ni-terne coated which is a coating of about 92% lead and 8% tin. This coating has excellent corrosion resistance for fuel tanks.

I'm very happy with the build quality and fit of my Spectra tank for my '70 road runner.

any concerns over the plastic looking float that gas may ruin quicker than the brass ones, could you add a brass float to it. thanks

I've bought a couple of the Premium models from Jeff @ 521 Restorations. Nice pieces - made in Canada I think.

I bought a Spectra tank and sending unit from RockAuto. Made in Canada but cheaper to buy in the US. Don't forget to buy a new rubber grommet for your filler tube and pre-clean and paint the tank straps.

You must of got a good sender because most don't read accurate.

That looks like the one I got from Dixie that came in a AMD box. I'm guessing AMD gets them from Spectre. It didn't set straight in the tank, only read to half tank and the electrical connector was close to the return line which made it difficult the get the plug on. Since I already had another one, (don't know the brand), that I liked better I adjusted it until it was right. If you want the other one I have PM me an address and I'll drop it in the mail to you. It is new and never modified. Maybe you'll have better luck with it than I did.

should i be concerned about the plastic float that spectra has oppose to having a brass one,gas can eat that up pretty quick i think.
