Most of my gauge lights work. Seems as though the tachometer arm doesn't light up anymore. But the speedometer dials and arm will light up (the most I've had it work is like 5 seconds) then will die. Like once a week it will light up. What should I look to correct first?

could be a bad connection for the bulb . i would remove replace bulb and clean contact for the bulb and harness to circuit board then use dielectric grease on all contact points

Agreed with vance.dykes-
Usually the BULB contact at the bottom (silver tip) melt down where it meets the brass socket wire tip. They end up flat. If its just ONE guage its almost always the bulb itself. Or loose/worn wire possibly. If you can reach up under the dash to behind the cluster, wiggle THAT wire. See if that causes it to stay lit.

These are electroluminescent strips no bulbs. Since the others work your power supply is working.
Likely a bad solder joint or trace on the board or the strip has a bad spot.
You would need to pull the cluster to sort that out.

Is the gauge cluster relatively simple to get to or do I have to pull the windshield? Is there a walk through posted somewhere?

One must consider, that with the old schematics, or service manuals, they arent extremely accurate per EXACT model years.. Say in MY case, I have a 69-1/2 A12 440 Six Pack car. The diagrams for a 440 powered Coronet, with Oil Press Guage? Are closer to a 69 Dart! Once you've R&R'd a few dash harnesses you figure that out. 65-67's? Im not that sure of. 69 B Bodies I can do almost BLINDFOLDED.. Including how to GET AROUND the Ammeter issues.. Learned from mistakes. (The Best Way) sometimes..
