My 72 SSP project car has one plastic splash shield on the driver's side. Should there be one on the corresponding passenger side? Thank you. Foto is of a driver's side one for sale on Ebay.

OK, I'm dumb... is a SSP a Satelite Sebring Plus? If so, I can't say for sure on your car, but on my '70 there are two very similar looking plastic "splash shields" pop-riveted to the frame at/near the sway bar end links...one on each side.

That is a tranny shield for automatic cars and only on the left side. There is a smaller one on each side in front of this one..
