Anyone know where I can get one of these kits, and, has anyone ever installed one and how does it work for you? Thanks!

I installed the US Car Tool Spring relocation kit

Donny

I got and installed the US Car Tool Spring Relocation Kit - This is the Plymouth version -
http://store.uscartool.com/66-70-B-body-Plymouth-Mini-tub-and-Rear-Spring-Relocation-Combo_p_99.html

The install will lower the pivot point at the rear of the car, which will, in turn raise the rear of your car - but I worked with Chris at US Car Tools and he fabricated a new version of the rear perch that would install directly in line with the existing pivot point - it takes more fabrication work, but I ended up with no change in the geometry of the rear shocks, except that they're moved in 3-4 inches on each side.

I'm still building my car so I can't tell you ( yet ) how they work . . . it's all documented, with a bunch of pictures, in my build thread.

Hope that helps . . .

I bought mine from an FBBO member, they are Mancini's, I have installed the front right perch with no issues. Easy. No clue how it will do.

PS....about leveling the car...mines on jack stands and IS level.

When we built my "65 Coronet in 1975, we leveled the car side to side, cut the frame rail, made our own spring box from rectangular tubing. Leveled it side to side with a steel rod, & tack welded in place. I started a Cuda project & bought a Mancini kit. Didn't finish it, but the install concept was going to be the same. Trace the frame rail off the floor to get the right height for the new spring box, leave a little room for finish grinding. Lay out your front spring eye mount hole locations, 2 or 3. Good luck.

Donny: I used the Magnumforce kit because it offers adjust-ability in the ride height. Plus, the rear shackles are billet and look cool....lol. Of course, with the Competition Engineering bars, the adjust-ability wasn't an option for me, as I found out after the fact...

Yes, the inner fender wells were moved inboard to the frame rails. Using Billet Specialties 15"X12" (5.5"BS) Street Lite wheels with M/T 29"X15.0R15" Sportsman S/R tires.
