Just out of curiosity Tom- is your fiberglass hood crap because of use & abuse, or was it poor quality from the vendor? If so, where'd you get it? (Only asking because the topic of quality 'glass comes up often)

I bought the Fiber Glass hood about 18 years ago from a co called MAS. Poor fit and Very Rough Finish . I will be looking at the hoods from AAR at Carlisle this year

Aah thanks. Yes I remember back then MAS was one of the first to offer those hoods..they always had their ads in the mopar magazines. You're not the only one to have issues with their quality. AAR is good though I've never used them. (When I was ready to get my hood they were shut down due to hurricanes unfortunately) check out Glasstek as well, it seems those two are the only decent shops for our hoods

Had an AAR on my 73 Dart 340, great product.

Now that I know the steel hood will work, I will be installing this weekend, I do not expect any issues, but if there are some left or right spacing issues how do you adjust this ? forward and up and down Hight
are easy. not sure about left or right
