Steer & gear gone ?

My power steering gear puked all over the floor. I started looking around and found a reman Cardone online . the three main mounting holes did not line up. So now, after reading thread recommendations, i called steer & gear in Columbus Oh. There's no answer, and no voice mail. Are they still in biz ? I've considered buying the rebuild kit, and diy. Though some say, you need a press, and other specialty tools. Any suggestions ?

I tried calling again, and finally got an answer. Rebuild for $340 ÷. Thanks

Firm Feel told me there's a 12 week wait last month. I had to sweeten the pot to get one quicker. Sometimes its worth it.

12 weeks is friggin’ ridiculous!! It’s not like they are casting new housings!

They brought a tech in on the weekend on OT. I have only used them and am comfortable with there rebuilds. I had heard on another forum about their waiting list.
