Hello everyone, I couldnt find this topic on here so I figured I'd ask. What is the typical spacing between the inner fender and the steering box on a 1970 b body? On my 70 GTX it almost looks none existant. I dont have any pictures at the moment but I could get some if needed. Thanks in advance for the help.

Pics would be nice so what’s the question? Need to remove sector or installing headers?

I will get some pictures, I was just asking because I wasnt sure if maybe there was some frame rail damage or something that was moving that inner fender closer to the steering box. The whole area looks undamaged but I wasnt sure.

If you are talking about a power steering box, it is very close to the inner fender. Manual boxes are about 3/4" away.

Here's a picture of the steering box, let me know if you guys think it looks about right. Thanks.

Doesn’t look right to me.. I’ve got a 71 Charger, and I have a lot of space between the gearbox and inner fender. Yours appears to have no space at all.. Is a 70 GTX, that much tighter??
