Steering Box Question 65 Satellite

Converting from manual to power. Looking to purchase new steering box and I am being asked if I have a large or small sector shaft.

The car is bone stock manual steering from factory ?

How would I find this out ?

Phone steer and gear on Ohio to be sure. They advertise in
the colum to the right. They are very helpful and have a great product too.

Never heard of them but will call. Does anyone have a diagram of where it's actually at. I assume it attaches to pitman arm ?

You have an 1 1/8 sector shaft. Beginning in 73 they went to 1 1/4 sector shafts.

The sector shaft is what the pitman arm attaches to at the steering box.

Get out the caliper and measure twice
