steering box removal

Does anyone know if the manual steering box will slide out through the bottom if the lca is removed? Looks like there might be just enough room. Anyone try this?

My power steering box did ,but i think i had to remove the starter if i remember correctly

I couldn't get my power steering box out from the bottom on my 66 charger. Needed a quarter inch or so. It came out the top easy enough after pulling the batt box and p/s pump.
