Hello all. Im in process of dissasembling and re-assembling my steering column and came across a part im not sure what to do. Looks like a seal or bearing. Its not mentioned in the service manual.

picture attached.

Is that part of the shaft or should it be replaced? If so any repro?

Thanks.

Hmmm.... I just did my column this year and I don't recognize that "seal". I'd either ignore it or use some RTV when I put it back together. I don't believe that's a bearing/bushing.

Ok thanks ill just apply grease then as there was a bit there after i clean it

thanks alot

Doesn't ring any bells to me ether but I have a column for striping I will look into it when I pull it apart
