Steering column resto

Want to restore and convert an auto on the tree steering column to a console shift steering column but for the live of me can't figure out how to completely get it apart?? I am down to getting the column shift housing parts off the column but can figure out how to get them off. Does anyone have some pics of even better some video links that will show me how to do this??

Thanks for your help and the link. That helps. I ended up leaving the lower housing attached to the column piece and just restored it all together. That link will help me with re-assembly though.

So got everything apart, cleaned and painted and now can't get the column back together and scratching it all up in the process....D'OH!! Almost seems like I can't get the main shaft though far enough to get the C-clip on??
Anybody got any pics on how to re-assemble a complete steering column after you have had it completely apart??
