Have you ever taken one apart before? If not, look at the pic you posted. In the upper right, you'll see a very small pin, next to the larger pin. This has to be pushed in before the shaft will slide out of the coupler. It's usually covered by grease and hidden. It's up at the top edge of the coupler.

Good tip, mine didn't have that holding it in. I will remember to put it in. Thanks
