Just had to share found this 68' RR has 67k original miles looks like its all their and o it's a hemi car!!! Will post more pics if I can get the deal sealed !!!! :headbang:

Good luck. It looks like it would be a sweet build if treated right..... A Hemi .... You lucky dog!

Very cool! Looks like they have a good collection of muscle cars there, what is the back story?

Here's the skinny ! Just a cold call knocked on the guys door shot the crap with him big GM guy and some how ended up with 3 AWSOME mopars ! And of course got the usual not for sale response but after talking some GM muscle cars with him ( things a guys will do for a hemi) got him to say he would consider a trade so now I'm on the hunt lol !

Cool deal, could be a great project...
Pure unadulterated American Muscle, hope it all works out for you
{what is the guy looking for ?, what kind of GM trade ?, someone on here could possibly help}
a 67k mile 68 Hemi RR would be freaken' awesome find

For your sake, I hope it's not a money pit or
you don't have to spend far more for the rusteration, {unless your not worried about it}
than it's ultimately worth...

Either way cool story & thanks for sharing

It's not gonna a an easy fix original Midwest car so back half is trashed but o well its a hemi car !! What he's lookin for ha ha what very GM guys thinks is the cats *** a Big Block first gen camero lol shouldn't be that hard to find lol I know where 1 is for sure and maybe a second so will see how picky he's gonna b lol want a rust free specimen ! :icon_thumright:

Yeah still a bunch of BB 1st gens out there, I've had a few over the years

I'll keep an eye out for ya' here too...
west coast has a little less rust, may cost a little more for transport
ultimately maybe worth it too...

finding one cheap or reasonable might be the issue

COPO's or ZL-1/L72 or SS Real BB cars are few & rare now,
much like Hemi cars are, it's like finding hens teeth now...
Even if they made way more of them {non COPO/ZL-1}
they were usually all rode hard & put away wet, spent or raced etc....

AWSOME thanks bud wouldn't b apossed to looking out west for one if need be but I'm thinking the one I know of will b something he's interested in 69' SS BB 4 gear car been in storage since 1980 !! But will have to see wished he would of just took the cash lol

I was Checking out www.Autabuy.com under 1967-69 Camaro's with Big Block &
all over the US
came up with 500+ a few even reasonably priced too,
some project cars etc., some are converted BB cars too,
just need to check out the listings &
select click the price lowest to highest etc.

some have been there for a while too, could be negotiable
crazy or somewhat high asking prices, aren't "actual" sale prices,
like you well know

good luck

Well, looks like he has some pontiac stuff. My brother in law is a pontiac guy and actually has some rare stuff. If you need to get your hands on some pontiac stuff to trade for a hemi road runner let me know.

wow all this time ....7-10 years I searched for a REALLY nice Mopar for a "reasonable" price..... so tell me where to go search for a big block Camaro. .....and its EASY?? so cool. heck I can sell my Mopar now and go buy one of these easy to find rides and make a huge profit and have a great car.

Heck I've been searching for the wrong cars.
