Stock 1968 Super Bee Sway Bar Size

Good morning all,

Can anyone confirm that the stock front sway bar on a 1968 Super Bee is 15/16"? I've put a caliper on it and I believe that's what it is, but 7/8" is also an option for replacement so I want to be sure before ordering. The FSM doesn't mention the size anywhere that I could find.

Sorry for the delay. My original measures 5/8”. Checked it twice. Guaranteed original.

Slip a wrench on it. All other possibilities are eliminated.

Using my trusty mitutoyo digital calipers, mine measures .9375 or 15/16. I’ve owned my Bee since 1975, it’s for sure legit and original. I had front end apart in 1978 for ball joints and bushings, ALL the original hard parts went back on the car, including the sway bar, bashed pivot brackets and all.

You are correct, my youngest just checked-15/16”. My cheapass caliper must have been wrong(or old eyeballs!)
