Looks like an aftermarket setup to me....plus by 74, pickups were weened from the 8 3/4 and only the E body cars came with them but you can never say never when it comes to Mom and what they did on the line.

Welcome even if its wrong place for it, its a 489 no doubt I can see the 9 at the side.

it's a 489,the gears were made in 74

That is a 74 489 cone type suregrip with 3:55 gears. 8.75's were available as an option and were installed in all Mopars in 74 with the exeption of A-Bodies.
