Street Racing

My last run on the street was in 92. I beat a Mustang with a my Dakota and it pissed him off to the point that he did something really stoooopid and I vowed to never race on the street again and haven't. I was 41 at the time.

I still sneak in a few stoplight runs every now and again..

I'm just more cautious to take a look around before i stab the skinny pedal now...

Still going on in Chattanooga. They video taped one night of racing and posted it on the web. Then setup another night of racing on a web site. I guess they didn't count on the local police reading the web site. A few were busted. You can see the video in the link. You can go to the streetfire web site and see of kinds of street racing.

One of my favorite street racing is watching this 65 belvedere. I love listening to the 383 pulling away.

Dumbasses. You don't do illegal stuff and post it on the net! That's another reason I don't partake in this stuff. You never know who is making a video of it and posting it for the world to see. I may mention things I do but there's no proof of it!

Haven't done any since the early '80s. Now traffic is worse, drivers are worse & the laws are much harsher.

Amen to the "drivers are worse" part. There are just way too many asshats now who will look right at the two cars bearing down on them and then calmly pull out of the fast-food driveway anyway. It's like people's brains have switched off in the spatial-recognition area. :eusa_eh:
