have a 70 charger with a factory sunroof
Here's the story hooked up the wiring harness threw the relay and taped into the blue wire with white strip off the dash harness as shown in the wiring diagram. So this is the issue
I only have power to the roof switch when the key is in the auxiliary position,so have to stop car to open or close the roof . So the question is is this how the roof works . Kinda of a pain got to stop to open or close roof

I see no reason why you couldn't wire it to that blue/white wire or even straight to the battery. I'd just suggest you put an in-line fuse in there just in case something shorts out.

I am wired into the blue and white wire and as you turn the key to the last position before start I lose power to the sunroof and when car running no power to the roof .
Will try hooking this up different

My mistake.... maybe just wire it straight to the battery with an in-line fuse until you can put your hands on the correct wiring diagram. Your blue/white wire almost sounds like my '70 brown wire that bypasses the ballast resistor during cranking of the engine... as soon as the engine starts, that wire goes dead & the blue wire (going through the ballast resistor) gets hot.
