Its even easier than that, you don't need three steps, and by the way, microfiber towels leave microfibers behind, and you can see them on your glass!!!! Use a good glass cleaner, like Sprayway and a good towel, linen is best because it does not leave fuzz behind and doesn't streak, but make sure that has been washed and dried without fabric softener, that leaves residue. You can also use newspaper with your cleaner or the brown paper towels, all clean with out leaving streaks.

Today's newspaper are good for 3 things mainly: Cleaning glass, starting charcoal grills, and lining bird cages.

My vote is for Sprayway (excellent glass cleaner - I've tested it side-by-side with other glass cleaners & it won a "blind" test). The super-cheap brown paper towels (or similar like "glass cleaning towels") work best in my opinion since they don't contain any "myristates"...which are "paper softeners" to make paper "feel better" in your hand. Toilet paper has a TON of myristates in it & myristates leave smudges on glass. Regular-old white paper towels aren't much better.
